These fan hoods are made of silicone. Silicone rubber is a very flexible material that can be used in a temperature range of -100°C to 200°C. It is UV-resistant and does not yellow, thus retaining a new appearance. The fan hoods are removable and can be rotated by loosening the ring on the flange. The ring nut and the deck flange are made of hardened plastic. The interior of the fan hood is red (RAL 3020). A mosquito screen and a cover plate made of stainless steel (AISI 316) are available as options. Type S has a screw-on plastic ring.
