Man overboard

(10 products)

Safety on board begins with good preparation – especially in the event of a man overboard maneuver. To be able to react quickly in such emergencies, appropriate rescue equipment is crucial. At awn, you'll find a wide selection of MOB products such as lifebuoys, lifebelts, buoyancy aids, and emergency transmitters. This ensures your crew is optimally equipped for an emergency.

  • Lifebuoy – a classic among rescue equipment

The lifebuoy is a basic piece of equipment on every boat. It's quickly deployed, easy to handle, and stowed in a clearly visible location on the stern or railing. Connected to the boat via a long line, it can be cast and retrieved from a long distance. Models with a wraparound handle provide a secure hold. Accessories such as brackets, lifelines, or signal lights make the lifebuoy even more effective—especially in poor visibility conditions.

  • Horseshoe lifebuoy – compact & functional

The horseshoe lifebuoy's compact design is particularly useful on smaller boats. Thanks to its open construction, it can be put on quickly, and its material ensures it stays stable afloat even if you lose consciousness. Versions with LED lights, UV-resistant covers and mounts, or inflatable models offer additional comfort and safety.

  • Rescue loop & life sling – easy rescue from the water

The rescue loop allows for safe retrieval by encircling the person who has fallen overboard. Complete sets include a floating line and lifebuoy. The lifesling is particularly popular – a safe retrieval system with an integrated line that is easy to use and understandable for all crew members.

  • Lifebelts & emergency transmitters – prevent instead of react

Lifebelts secure crew members directly to the boat, preventing them from falling overboard. Emergency transmitters with GPS functionality also offer maximum safety: They automatically trigger an alarm and make it easier to find the person in the water – even in poor visibility or high waves.
