Genoa sled

(4 products)

Genoa sliders are essential components for precise trimming of the headsail on sailboats. They allow for easy and precise adjustment of the genoa slider's hauling point along the genoa tracks on both sides of the boat. Choosing the right genoa slider depends on factors such as storage, adjustability, and boat size.

  • How genoa sleds work

Genoa sliders slide along the genoa tracks and are used to optimally trim the headsail (genoa or jib). Various designs are available, including plain-bearing or ball-bearing models, with stoppers, or continuously adjustable. For particularly smooth and precise adjustments, ball-bearing sliders with continuously adjustable adjustment and optional gear ratio are ideal. The size of the genoa track is determined based on the sail area and the boat's weight.
