SELD‰N Rodkicker

A rod kicker is a boom support that prevents the boom from falling uncontrollably into the cockpit or onto the deck. The integrated 1:2 wire rope tackle reinforces the downhaul tackle. Additionally, a gas spring can be optionally installed, which "tips" the boom upwind. This eliminates the need for a boom topmast.
