The marine rescue light is stored upside down, self-rights in the water, and is automatically switched on by the integrated liquid switch. Four standard 1.5-volt LR20 batteries are required to operate the light (not included). This marine rescue light complies with SOLAS 74-(83) and IMO A689-(17).
