Plastimo - Buoy for regatta training

This buoy was developed in collaboration with the French Tornado Olympic team and is therefore particularly suitable for training top-class regatta teams, for races, or for regatta training in sailing schools. It can be used either as a drifting buoy or as a traditional regatta buoy and offers the additional advantages of being lightweight and very easy to handle.

• PVC 1100 Decitex: robust and durable.
• Yellow, so clearly visible.
• Hardly drifts in the wind and remains in a vertical position, due to the ballast and because a large part of the buoy is in the water (52 cm).
• Fast inflation and deflation: Buoy equipped with 1/4 inch valve (Halkey Roberts type), suitable for most bellows.
• Easy to bring on board thanks to the numerous carrying handles.
• Easy to transport: small size when folded.

Ballast bag with velcro closure for a ballast of approx. 14 kg (recommended weight, e.g. stones, pebbles, ...). This bag is also useful for storing excess anchor line to prevent the rudder blade or keel from getting caught in it.

If the buoy is used as a classic regatta buoy, the anchor line can be attached to the handle at the bottom of the buoy.
