Non-contact level measurement of tanks using ultrasonic technology eliminates the need for moving parts that can become dirty or damaged by force. This makes it particularly suitable for measurements in holding tanks.

Restriction:

Since measurements are not possible when the boat is tilted or underway in rough seas, we do not recommend ultrasonic fuel tank sensors for fuel tanks. Signal quality can be improved while underway by installing a UFT sound guide tube.

The UTV ultrasonic fuel level sensors can be easily replaced with existing conventional fuel level sensors if they already have the SAE standard mounting (5 holes in a 53 mm bolt circle).
