The OCEAN SIGNAL rescueME PLB1 emergency beacon increases safety on board and gives you peace of mind during long offshore trips. It lets you notify the appropriate emergency services at the touch of a button – even on land. Registration and use are free of charge.

Wide-area reception and precise positioning

Once switched on, the rescueME PLB1 marine rescue beacon transmits your position and unique ID via satellite to an emergency coordination center. Emergency services are quickly informed of your emergency and regularly updated on your location thereafter. To assist rescuers, a homing signal is also transmitted on 12 MHz, which can be received by emergency responders in aircraft and ships. In the event of an emergency, the device should remain above water. The GPS receiver provides access to 66 channels, enabling near-exact location.

Secure distress beacon on board

In an emergency, the transmitter provides three methods for communicating your location. This allows you to be quickly located in an emergency. The antenna can be easily extended. The emergency transmitter can generally be easily operated with one hand. The activation button is protected to prevent accidental activation. The integrated beacon ensures you are clearly visible even in poor visibility conditions.
