Reliable information transmission

Once switched on, the rescueME PLB1 emergency beacon transmits your position and unique ID to an emergency coordination center via satellite. Emergency services are quickly notified of your emergency and location. To assist rescuers, a homing signal is also transmitted on 12 MHz, which can be received by emergency responders in aircraft and ships. In an emergency, the radio should be kept above water. The 66-channel GPS receiver provides near-exact positioning.

Emergency transmitter functional equipment

The required antenna is simply gently pulled out of the rescue beacon. The rescueME PLB1 can be operated with just one hand, even in the most difficult situations. A simple spring-loaded cover protects the activation button, preventing accidental use. The integrated beacon provides maximum visibility thanks to an incredible luminosity of 1 candela.
