The reason: When anchoring, the wind and waves regularly place a changing load on the anchor winch. The Flensburg Devil's Claw cushions this load – thus also preventing chain noise! ​​It is simply hooked onto the chain when mooring and can relieve the strain on the winch with the help of a line wrapped around a cleat.
