This robust battery is based on LiFePo4 chemistry. With its high energy density, it represents the next level of technology within this chemistry. This series consists of a 12.8 V and several 25.6 V variants. Both are suitable for replacing existing lead-acid battery banks. The modules are very compact and lightweight with high charge and discharge capabilities. At the same time, their longer cycle life makes them a superior choice compared to traditional lead-acid batteries.

Applications
The LFP series is designed for use in smaller applications, such as replacing conventional 12V or 24V lead-acid battery banks in boats, motorhomes, caravans, cars, and other mobile applications.
Easy installation
One of the shortcomings of a traditional system is the extensive equipment and cabling required to monitor and connect a battery bank. Combining the LFP series batteries with the MG Master LV creates a compact system with reduced cabling and external components. The MG Master LV combines battery monitoring and control, DC power distribution, a fuse box, and a shunt in a single unit.
Security
Each battery module comes with an integrated battery management system (BMS). This intelligent electronic module (slave BMS) measures all cell voltages and temperatures to control balancing at both the battery cell and module levels. The battery modules communicate via a galvanically isolated CAN bus with the MG Master LV (master BMS), which records and monitors the status of all battery modules. If the values measured by a battery module exceed the limit, the MG Master automatically takes action to protect the connected battery modules.
