Mente Marine trim tab control fully automatic, boat trim control system, easy installation and full compatibility

The Mente Marine ACS RP fully automatic trim tab control is designed for existing trim tab systems.

It is suitable for systems from: Bennet, Lenco, Eltrim, Trimmaster, Instatrim QL, TFX Teleflex, TX Controls, Lectrotab, Uflex, Ultraflex.

Simply replace the existing trim switch with one from Mente Marine, connecting six wires. Older hydraulic systems may require a separate cable to the pump.

Then the calibration takes place while underway, and you're done! The deep-V hulls of modern sports boats are designed to ensure smooth sailing in rough water. The greater the deadrise, the more necessary it is to use trim tabs to maintain a straight line. Roll and lateral pitch depend on the wind and the position of the passengers. The longitudinal pitch, also known as the trim attitude, depends on the speed and the load. When changing course, the wind direction also changes, and the boat must be re-trimmed. If passengers change their position, the boat must be re-trimmed. This need to constantly adjust the trim attitude to the changing load conditions unnecessarily distracts the boat operator and therefore poses a safety risk at high speeds. The automatic trim system (ACS) does this work for you. Changes in trim attitude caused by wind, a new course, or a change in the seating position of passengers are automatically compensated for by the system. The ACS RP (Roll & Pitch) automatically adjusts the boat to an optimal trim position relative to the roll axis by eliminating heeling. The ACS RP (Roll & Pitch) system also optimizes longitudinal axis steering, improving semi-planing performance and visibility over the bow.

How it works: The control panel transforms a manual trim system into a fully automatic trim system.

Installation: The existing control unit is simply replaced with the ACS control unit from MENTE MARINE – connecting six cables. The built-in sensors measure the boat's movements.
