The powerful McMurdo FastFind 220 PLB emergency beacon was developed for ambitious water sports enthusiasts. The Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) uses the 406 MHz frequency and GPS reception to transmit its unique ID and precise GPS position to the Cospas-Sarsat global rescue satellite network. Emergency responders are alerted in no time and receive regular position updates. Finally, rescuers can precisely locate the PLB using the 121.5 MHz frequency (homing signal) in addition to the GPS signal.
