Harken Winch Grease High-performance lubricant, boat maintenance grease, resistant to salt and fresh water

You should service your winches at least once during the preseason. In saltwater conditions, applying Harken Winch Grease twice per season is certainly recommended.

Lubricate all metal gears and roller bearings with Harken Winch Grease. This grease is highly resistant to both salt and freshwater, works at all temperatures, and protects against corrosion.

Never grease pawls and springs, as this causes them to stick and thus malfunction. Composite bearings do not require lubrication.
