The gWind sensor features Twin-Fin technology with a three-bladed propeller, providing more accurate true wind speed data even in light wind conditions. The twin-fin design provides a more stable true wind angle measurement. Unlike the conventional design, the three-bladed propeller is always efficient. Combined with optimal reading performance, the sensor delivers superior accuracy at low wind speeds and excellent linearity. The included GND 10 black box gateway enables the exchange of critical NMEA 2000 data between the Nexus network and compatible Garmin chartplotters. Garmin chartplotter owners can use the GND 10 with Nexus sailing equipment—and vice versa.
