NMEA 2000 has become the de facto networking standard in marine electronics. Using a drop cable, each device to be integrated is connected to a so-called backbone (main line). This backbone is terminated at both ends with a resistor or connected to another connector. Special NMEA 20000 connectors are waterproofed to the cables to ensure maximum reliability and enable easy setup.

Digital Yacht's new NMEA 2000 Starter Kit has everything you need to set up a small NMEA 2000 network on board, including a chartplotter, AIS, and autopilot. It consists of a power cable, termination resistors, a 1m drop cable, and a unique 6-way connector that forms the backbone. You can add termination resistors at either end or connect multiple starter kits to form a larger network.

Our connectors are made of high-quality, nickel-plated metal, as we don't use the cheaper plastic connectors found with other manufacturers. With the help of our NMEA 2000 starter kit, both amateurs and professionals can quickly set up a reliable, secure, and compact network.
