It can be heated quickly and effectively by the engine's cooling water, or, if shore power is available, by the built-in heating element. The heating element heats the water to over 70°C, as required for hygiene and safety.

The unit can be mounted in several different positions. Please note that the safety valve and fresh water inlet should be located at the lowest point to allow for winter drainage. The Slim Square therefore offers more mounting options than conventional round tanks.

Like all Isotemp water heaters, the Slim Square 16 L consists of a sturdy inner tank made of stainless, acid-resistant steel and an outer shell made of non-magnetic, rust-proof, bright sheet metal. The outer narrow sides are made of plastic. The unit features a 5.5 bar safety valve that reduces water leakage when the water expands during heating.

A thermostatic mixer is available as an accessory. It reduces the temperature of the outgoing hot water to an adjustable level between 36 and 65°C to reduce the risk of scalding. The thermostatic mixer also saves hot water, as cold water is added directly to the unit.

Slim Square was designed for installation in tight spaces on board. The unit offers various installation options even in very limited spaces. Slim Square has a capacity of 16 liters.
