Description

The Digital Voltage Sensing Relay (DVSR) allows a second battery bank to be charged from any single charging source. When the voltage of the charged bank rises sufficiently, the DVSR allows the second battery bank to be charged. When charging stops and the voltage drops, the DVSR automatically disconnects the battery banks and ensures that the engine-starting batteries are fully charged. The digital circuit offers superior reliability and extremely low power consumption. Digital improvements have introduced a remote sensing circuit with an optional connection from the ignition switch providing the same functionality as a single-sense VSR and zero current consumption when the engine is shut down. Another advantage is a zero standby current sensing when the remote sensing circuit is used with an equipped storage mode switch (switch in the open position). Two or more independent battery banks can be powered from a single charging source such as an alternator or battery charger.

Safety instructions:
  • Charges the engine's starting batteries
  • Protect batteries when batteries are flattened by household loads
  • isolates the electronics from harmful electrical interference from starter motors
  • Easy to install 3 wire connection leaves alternator cable intact
  • Ignition protected
  • Surface or panel mountable
  • Replaces the previous models 710-125a and 710-125A-Ds
  • Multi-voltage, automatically selects between 12 and 24V DC operation
  • Digital circuits offer very low power consumption and improved performance
  • Option for LED output of remote status
  • continuous assessment: 140
  • Engaged: 13.2 VDC, Lossing: 12.7 VDC
