CHARACTERISTICS

POLYESTERPUTTY CARTRIDGE is a two-component polyester putty cartridge. The putty is dispensed ready-to-use and bubble-free using a standard hand gun (for 310 ml cartridges) and a mixing nozzle. The mixing nozzle ensures optimal, consistent, and correct mixing of the putty with the hardener system. Working with the putty cartridge is very economical, as you only ever squeeze out the amount actually needed. Puttying work can be carried out very cleanly and conveniently.

AREA OF OPERATION

• Leveling of small and large unevenness in GRP parts and steel sheets.
• Repairing minor scratches and paint damage on the bodywork. The cured filler can be baked at temperatures up to 80°C.
• Covering filler surfaces that have previously been treated with filler or fiber filler.
• Achieving a finer and less absorbent surface, any remaining pores and unevenness in the base filler are closed.
• Reconditioning of weathered and corroded surfaces of other materials.
• Light-duty bonding of wood, stone, metal and GRP parts.
• Quick repair of local damage to gelcoats of the same color in weather-exposed areas or in the above-water area of ​​boats.
• By covering the filler surface with a Hostaphan film, a very smooth surface is achieved after curing.
• Contouring and leveling compound in model making or repair work.
• Repairing joints, breaks and signs of weathering in wooden surfaces such as windows and doors and their frames before repainting.

• The object temperature must be above the dew point to avoid condensation.

PROCESSING

The product is ready to use; the two components are mixed in the spiral-shaped mixing nozzle. To do this, the cap must first be removed. Connect the mixing nozzle to the screw cap and screw it onto the cartridge. Then, insert the cartridge into the hand gun using the black adapter. Press the gun until material emerges from the mixing nozzle. The mixing nozzle ensures precise dosing and complete, bubble-free mixing of the filler. The user always receives the same mixing ratio and consistency. Dosing errors are eliminated by automatic mixing. The drying time is approximately 15 minutes (20°C), and full curing is achieved after approximately 1 hour (20°C). During the first 5 minutes, new material can be continuously pressed out via the mixing nozzle without changing the mixing nozzle.
