Harken Block 57 mm, sail block, light & robust, patented fiber composite

The patent-pending T2 Ratchamatic is Harken's newest member of the T2 family. The absence of metal shackles or rivets, fiber-reinforced composite cheeks, and minimal moving parts make the 57 mm Carbo T2 Ratchamatic block extremely lightweight yet robust. The eight bevels of the hardcoat-anodized aluminum sheave achieve a holding force of up to 10: The rope attachment through the block's center directs the forces directly to the sheave. This relieves the cheeks and increases the block's load-bearing capacity. It can be tied, lashed, or spliced ​​to almost anything. Pressure on the line engages the ratchet, providing a seamless transition from free-spool to ratchet. Unloaded sheets run smoothly, and gennaker sheets release instantly when jibing. A Spectra line with a polyester cover is included.
