D-SPLICER Soft Fid 8-12mm, pull-fid, easy application on fixed ropes

When splicing rope, it can sometimes be very difficult to pull the strands through the braid cover. This is especially true with very tightly braided, strong rope. Even a D-SPLICER Pull Fid (Item No. 420256) won't always do the job, as more force is required and/or there isn't enough space. A Soft Fid is another clever innovation from D-SPLICER. Simple and effective! You first pull it through the thin Dyneema rope and then clamp the rope into the white cover. Pulling on the Soft Fid will tighten the cover around the rope.
