This simple kit consists of a 15 dBi high-gain antenna, a mounting base, a 10 m LMR400 cable, and a connection kit. This is a Wi-Fi booster that allows one of the 4G Xtream's two Wi-Fi modules to connect to a marina's Wi-Fi network, allowing it to use its internet connection instead of the 4G network.

This is useful in remote areas where 4G coverage may not be good, or if you have a limited or overly expensive internet plan.

The antenna is designed for 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless networks. This allows you to take advantage of the latest 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks in marinas, which are gradually replacing the older and congested 2.4 GHz networks. Please note that 5 GHz networks offer high-speed connectivity but limited range, so 4G/LTE connectivity via 4G Xtream is generally the best method for internet connection.
