Exhaust hose type SLANG

Flexible and durable, quick to install. Thanks to the use of a larger number of spiral coils and an even more supple rubber grade, VETUS exhaust hoses are even more flexible and durable. The smooth inner surface reduces exhaust backpressure to the engine. Exhaust hoses up to Ø152mm have a bend radius of 1.5 times the hose diameter; hoses with a diameter over 152mm have a bend radius of twice the hose diameter. Temperature resistant between -30°C and +100°C for short periods, up to 115°C.

Type SLANG is registered with Germanischer Lloyd and meets the requirements of SAE J2006 R2.

An engine with a 57mm outer diameter exhaust manifold may be connected to a 60mm VETUS exhaust hose. This also allows the use of VETUS silencers, waterlocks, goosenecks, and transom fittings.
