Ocean Signal distress beacon 10-year maintenance-free battery, EPIRB, suitable for small pleasure boats

The EPIRB was specifically developed for yachting, with a 10-year maintenance-free battery. Its compact dimensions and retractable antenna make it perfect for smaller recreational boats. It can be manually or automatically activated upon contact with water, using a strobe light. It features a 66-channel GPS receiver for precise positioning, which is transmitted directly to rescue services. The battery is not classified as hazardous material. A wall mount is included. As with all EPIRBs, transmission is via satellite at 406.028 MHz and a bearing frequency of 121.5 MHz. Please note that MMSI programming is mandatory before use.
