Plastimo inflatable lifebuoy IOR, buoy for man overboard maneuvers, automatic release and high visibility

The inflatable IOR lifebuoy from Plastimo can be attached to the boat and thrown overboard during a rescue maneuver. The buoy deploys automatically when the line is tensioned. Its height above the water is 1.98 m when inflated. Its buoyancy is 150 N. The container and marker buoy are made of yellow-coated polyurethane and nylon.

Lifebuoy with many functions

An adjustable harness is integrated and suitable for one person. A grab handle also offers the option of holding onto the buoy. Furthermore, the buoy is equipped with a self-activating light (0.75 cd) with an operating time of 8 hours. The rigid V-shaped ballast, which sits in the water like a keel and prevents tipping, ensures optimal stability. A red and yellow signal flag also provides increased visibility. Its dimensions are 32 cm x 20 cm (W x D). An integrated sea anchor helps prevent drifting. The yellow plastic container measures 49 cm x 13 cm (H x Ø) and can be attached to the railing.
