  • Navigation lights for direction of movement

Position lights indicate not only the size of the boat but also its direction of travel. These include stern, masthead, and side lights, which have different colors: a red light appears from the left, a green light from the right. These signals help avoid collisions by indicating the direction of travel.

  • Legal requirements and safety

Sailboats and motorboats are subject to the requirements of the KVR (German Code of Navigation) and SeeSchStrO (German Navigational Rules for Navigation). The correct use of these lights is essential for safety at sea and helps prevent accidents.

  • Anchor lights for quiet nights

Anchor lights are especially important when overnighting in unlit bays. They make the boat's position visible to other vessels and help you navigate safely around the anchor. These lights are a practical addition to standard navigation lights.
