It should not be used in place of or mixed with Quicksilver Power Trim or other power steering fluids. Using any other steering fluid in Mercury and Mercruiser hydraulic steering systems may shorten the service life of the steering system. Quicksilver hydraulic steering fluid ensures adequate lubrication and a long service life for Mercury and Mercruiser hydraulic steering systems.
