Digital Yacht Position Sensor GPS160 High-performance GPS/Glonass/Galileo, navigation device, TriNav technology for precise positioning

We are pleased to introduce the GPS160, a new high-performance positioning sensor featuring GPS, Galileo, and Glonass satellite systems for exceptional positioning accuracy and redundancy.

TriNav technology enables the simultaneous use of all three systems for navigation. Furthermore, the device can be field-programmed for a variety of modes, such as individual GNSS operations (e.g., Galileo) and output configurations such as update rate, NMEA sentence structure, etc.

The GPS160 is available with an NMEA 0183 output (programmable at 4800, 38400, and 115200 baud) and a USB version for PC, Mac, and Linux. A package with iKonvert is also available for NMEA 2000 systems. This enables simple and flexible NMEA 2000 installation without cumbersome drop cables.

For this purpose, the GPS160 supports an external MOB switch or device. When activated, a "synthesized" AIS SART MOB message is created on the NMEA output, with MOB identification using a local plotter.

The GPS160 supports GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo positioning. We use our TriNav technology to combine signals from all three systems, allowing us to calculate the best possible fix accuracy and reliability.

Galileo is the new global navigation satellite system (GNSS) developed over the past two decades. It combines the GPS and GLONASS systems, providing mariners with a third reliable positioning source. It is expected to be fully operational by 2020.
