This engine mount was designed with special consideration for the weight-to-power ratio of modern diesel engines, as the weight of modern engines is constantly decreasing relative to their power. Type LMX guarantees optimal damping, even when idling. Its high rigidity in the longitudinal direction of the ship makes it suitable for absorbing high thrust forces, while its high elasticity in the transverse direction provides excellent damping properties.
