Type ECS

The VETUS RECO electronic engine control systems developed by Rexroth have proven extremely reliable and popular over the years. Now, based on customer experience and evolving technology, VETUS is introducing the next generation of electronic engine control systems: Type ECS. Type ECS systems meet the highest quality standards and offer users maximum reliability, proven in tests with one million lever movements.

Simple plug-and-play installation, ease of use, and numerous options characterize this series. Type ECS can be used with either one or two engines and at up to four control stations.

A creep mode is available as an option. The system was developed for yachts and small workboats and is suitable for use with all common engines and transmission types.

The hardware is derived from proven automotive applications. Proven CAN bus technology ensures reliable communication between the individual components. Advanced self-diagnostics inform the operator of the current operating status, and alarm recording is available for later analysis.
