Safety instructions: Limitations and considerations for mounting ultrasonic tank sensors:
  • The transmitters are calibrated to the VSM 422 and M2 measuring devices and do not work with other monitors
  • Transmitters must be mounted 4 inches or more from a tank side or baffle
  • The tank bottom must not have a slope
  • Tanks must not be deeper than 32 inches
  • The transmitter must be mounted perpendicular to the liquid surface
  • The negative terminal of the transmitter should be connected as directly as possible to the negative main rail.
