Type FSA - FUEL OVERFLOW PROTECTION

The fuel overflow protection device is connected directly below the deck filler plate to ensure that overflowing fuel or foam cannot flood the deck. Excess diesel or gasoline is collected in a parallel hose that acts as a reservoir, returning the fuel to the tank. The capacity of the container is determined by the length and diameter of the hose (see 3 types below). The housing and hose connection are made of anodized aluminum. The fill and vent lines, hose clamps, and a matching stainless steel inlet must be ordered separately. The fuel overflow protection device meets all the latest CE (ISO 7840 and ISO 10088) and ABYC standards.

• Suitable for Ø 38 mm hose and 16 mm vent line with a capacity of 1.1 ltr / mtr
• Recommended for a tank of 40 liters

A non-odor filter (for diesel only) can be installed in the tank vent line to prevent unpleasant odors. If the filter is located well above the deck insert, the vent line can exit below the deck level if necessary. To prevent costly fuel theft, we recommend installing a FUELSAFE in the filler hose.
