Trimmuhr Tacking Master

The Tacking Master™, the racing tactical strategy tool, is manufactured in Denmark and is completely analog and waterproof. The prevailing wind direction is set on the white outer ring, and the position of the upwind mark is indicated by an orange arrow. If the compass heading suddenly deviates from that shown on the trim dial, the change must be adjusted by turning the inner circle. A quick glance then reveals which tack is best for the upwind mark. The Tacking Master™ can also be used to determine tacking angles on the upwind leg or to determine the preferred side of the starting line. A great toy for racing sailors who don't want to deal with dead batteries or who are simply looking for an "indestructible" trim aid.
