The operation of Hella marine EuroaLED Touch lights is intuitive and straightforward. Touching the colored field on the light housing switches the light to red or blue (depending on the model), while touching the white field switches it to white. Holding the field down gradually brightens the light.

The light can also be controlled with one or more external push-button switches with an "on-off-on" function. After pressing an external push-button switch for 3 seconds, all lights automatically synchronize to the same brightness level. Furthermore, each light "remembers" the last set brightness level and color and returns to these when switched on – regardless of how long the light was disconnected from the power supply.

Hella marine LED interior lights provide efficient, evenly distributed light. This is an important aspect of LED luminaire design, as high-power LEDs are point light sources and, with inadequate optics, can be harmful to the eyes during prolonged use.
