ICOM Marine Radio Blackbox IC-M 400 BBE DSC/ATIS, VHF Radio, Active Noise Cancelling, GPS Antenna

The direct successor to ICOM's former IC-M00BB VHF DSC black box radio, the IC-M-400 BBE, is now called the IC-M-400 BBE. All functions are controlled via the included Commandmic™ HM-195B. It's flexible and space-saving for limited space on the instrument panel/helm station. Active noise cancellation reduces interference by 90% during reception and by approximately 30% during transmission. It features a 10-watt audio amplifier for external speakers, a hailer and foghorn function, and NMEA 0183 input/output. Includes a GPS antenna with a 5-meter cable.

The following notes apply to programming with MMSI code and ATIS ID :

• MMSI code: Can be programmed into the device by the end user themselves. When the device is turned on, a query is displayed asking whether it can be detected. Once the MMSI code is detected, the device's DSC functions are then available to the user. Changes or corrections to the entered MMSI code can only be made by the dealer using the device software. If the MMSI code has not yet been detected, no DSC functions are initially available to the user. The device will ask again whether it can be detected each time the device is turned on.
• ATIS ID: Can be programmed into the device by the end user themselves. Once this has been done, the device will ask for detection when switched on. Once the ATIS ID is detected, the device can then be switched to the ATIS channel group and used accordingly in the inland waterway radio communications sector. Changes or corrections to the entered ATIS ID can only be made by the dealer using the device software. If the ATIS ID has not yet been detected, this channel group is not available to the user, and the device will ask for detection again each time it is switched on.
