The angles can be pre-adjusted according to the vessel's capabilities to determine the optimal close-hauled course. Reading is made easier by the human eye's ability to detect asymmetries. The ZEPHIR's arms and wind vane are reflective for optimal readability even at night. The ZEPHIR has been wind tunnel-tested at speeds up to 80 knots. Should a breakage occur, replacement parts are available.
