West System 105 resin is an epoxy resin that serves as the base material for the West System family. All possible formulas and mixtures are based on this base material. Resin 105 has a relatively high flash point and is free of solvent vapors. This makes it safer to process than polyester.
West System 206 Hardener is a slow-curing hardener. It is typically used when longer pot lives are required, for example, for larger workpieces or at higher ambient temperatures. When combined with Resin 105, it creates a high-strength, rigid, moisture-resistant solid that is excellent for use as a coating or adhesive.
