Yachtcare Basic Oil 1L, impregnation oil B-stock, protects wood from moisture and wood rot

Colorless deep impregnation for saturating wood exposed to extreme stress. It permanently protects the wood from the inside against wood rot and moisture.

Saturation with YC BASIC OIL 1 displaces and replaces air and moisture in the wood, thus permanently protecting it from within against wood rot and preventing the further development of pest infestation. The wood also becomes less susceptible to the penetration of dirt. YC BASIC OIL 1 contains natural oils and is characterized by very low viscosity and surface tension, resulting in excellent penetration properties. It penetrates completely into the wood, enclosing the wood fibers and thus protecting them from leaching of the lignin. Once saturated with YC BASIC OIL 1, the wood requires very little maintenance.

Area of ​​application

YC BASIC OIL 1 is used as a deep impregnation on new and old wood, for wooden boats, inboard and outboard, above and below the waterline. In underwater areas, YC BASIC OIL 1 must be treated with a water barrier. It can be used as a sanding fluid when refinishing the YC FINISH OIL 2 coating.
