The patented SMART TABS SX system offers a unique trim and stabilization system that automatically adapts to changing conditions, without the need for a costly electrical or hydraulic installation with a control switch. SMART TABS have nitrogen-filled cylinders that push the trim tabs down at low speeds and automatically push them up (horizontally) at higher speeds. The trim tabs are constantly pressurized, effectively acting as shock absorbers, constantly assuming the correct position depending on the conditions, boat speed, and attitude. This provides an exceptional improvement in a boat's handling characteristics.
