The 500 A magnetic relay (bistable) automatically connects the batteries when charging and isolates the batteries when discharging and when starting the engine.

• The manual control switch provides an additional level of safety, allows control with or without power, and offers a LOCK-OFF function for maintenance work.
• Includes ML series Contura Switch PN 2146 remote control.
• Automatically manages the charging of two large battery banks.
• Allows parallel connection of battery banks for emergency starting.
• 500 amps continuous power to support high-power generators.
• Magnetic Lock (ML) – ACR consumes very low current (<40 mA to monitor terminal voltage) when in the “ON” or “OFF” state and consumes moderate current for a very short time when the state changes.
• Dual sensing – detects the charge level of both battery banks.
• Start Isolation (SI) – can be configured to temporarily isolate house loads from the motor circuit during engine start-up to protect sensitive electronics.
• Engine Isolation (EI) – can be configured to isolate two engines while running to protect engine electronics and maximize alternator performance.
• Senses charges via two battery banks.
• LED output for remote indication when batteries are combined, isolated, in voltage lockout, or in start or motor isolation.
• 3/8'-16 tinned copper studs for maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance.
• The bolt length of 7/8 inch (22 mm) is suitable for multiple cable connections.
• Silver alloy contacts offer high reliability when switching live loads.
• Labeling recesses for circuit identification.
