Victron Energy - Telecom batteries

Designed for telecommunications applications, space-saving for boats and land vehicles. The deep-cycle AGM Telecom series was specifically developed for use in telecom systems. With their front-panel terminals and small footprint, these batteries are ideal for shelf mounting. These batteries also help solve floor space or access problems on board boats and vehicles.

AGM technology

AGM stands for 'Absorbent Glass Mat'. In these batteries, the electrolyte is contained within a glass fiber mat between the plates. Acid transport occurs through capillary action.

Low self-discharge

By using high-purity lead-calcium grids, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for extended periods without recharging. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. This rate doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature.

Low internal resistance

Tolerates very high charge and discharge rates.

Large number of charging cycles possible

Over 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.
