The VE.Bus Smart Dongle combines two products: First, it's the Bluetooth accessory for our inverter/charger range: Multis, MultiPlusse, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros, and our Phoenix inverter range with a VE.Bus port. Once installed, you can use the VictronConnect app to monitor operation and control the system, including changing the input current limit and switching between on, off, and charger-only mode.

It can also serve as a voltage and temperature sensor for the inverter/charger. This works with all models and is particularly advantageous in combination with the MultiPlus-II, as this device does not have built-in connections for voltage and temperature sensors.

For monitoring, the device is a good alternative in mobile homes, smaller yachts and caravans where the Color Control GX or Venus GX would be too bulky.
