PLASTIMO telescopic marker buoy with fluorescent flag, safety buoy, extendable with lighting kit

The extendable marker buoy is an important safety feature on board. The marker buoy can be equipped with an additional, separately available lighting kit. The continuous light is activated in an emergency by a breaker chip connected to the deck by a tether.

Scope of delivery : Three-part telescopic tube made of UV-resistant plastic (1.88 m to 3.15 m), two cylindrical floats made of closed polystyrene foam (Ø 38 mm), stainless steel ballast weight, fluorescent flag (450 mm x 350 mm), 8 m long buoyant line as a connection to other rescue equipment.

Note : Marking buoys are mandatory on all sailing yachts participating in long-distance regattas in case of a man overboard maneuver according to ISAF/IOR.
