With antifouling removers and primers you can optimally prepare your boat for a new paint application. Antifouling removers are applied to the previous, flaked or outdated antifouling. After a specified contact time, the soft compound is carefully removed with a spatula or similar boat tool. This process may need to be repeated for particularly thick coats.

Use a antifouling primer to prime the clean surface of the boat hull so that the new antifouling can later adhere to it and not penetrate the boat's material. As a rule, these primers are fast-drying, so that work can be continued quickly. When choosing your antifouling primer or remover, make sure that it is suitable for your boat and the material processed in it.
