H2148 40 mm Carbo T2 Loop Block
The Carbo T2 blocks are the lightest blocks that Harken has ever built. They are used wherever maximum performance and minimum weight are required. The absence of metal shackles or rivets and the use of fiber-reinforced composite makes the 40 mm Carbo T2 Loop Block extremely lightweight yet strong. The loop stop through the center of the block directs forces directly to the disc. This relieves the load on the cheeks and thus increases the load capacity of the block. The loop, made of SK75 Dyneema®, is pulled through the head of the block and threaded over the anchor pin. The endless construction makes the connection particularly secure. No knots, splices or tools are required for installation or removal. Delrin® ball bearings in a curved bearing shell provide uniform dissipation of forces, for maximum load capacity with minimal friction.
